Mahpara Zulqadar

Mahpara Zulqadar belongs to District Mianwali in South Punjab. She is an independent journalist, researcher, and social activist.

Over the past few years, she has focused her work on reporting and storytelling around gender equality, child rights, climate change, and social justice. Her stories have covered issues such as domestic violence, child marriage, women’s rights in marriage contracts, and the impacts of climate change on rural communities.

Mahpara has also participated in various fellowships on climate action and gender equality, aimed at bringing grassroots voices into national-level conversations.

Her mission is to highlight the real-life experiences of marginalized groups and contribute meaningfully to policy change. Mahpara is also a member of the Advisory Board of SEEK.
