Social Empowerment through Education and Knowledge(SEEK) Pakistan is a non- governmental, certified not for profit, non-political and development oriented formal registered organisation based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. SEEK was established in 2020 by experienced development sector practitioners to undertake the activities of community development especially for the marginalised and vulnerable sections of society. Since its inception, SEEK has been working in partnership with and funding support from National and International partners, public sector organisations and local donors to serve the disadvantaged and under-served communities of the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)”

Who is the CEO of SEEK?
Sher Afzal Gujjar is a seasoned journalist, article writer, and social activist who has dedicated his life to empowering communities through education and knowledge. As the Executive Director of Social Empowerment through Education and Knowledge (SEEK),a not-for profit organization working for human rights, climate change, capacity building ,advocacy and media development.
With over 16 years of experience in the media industry, Sher Afzal has worked across various platforms, including print, electronic, and digital media. His insightful and compelling articles have shed light on critical social, political, human rights and economic issues, advocating for the rights of marginalized groups and giving voice to the voiceless.
Beyond his journalistic endeavors, Sher Afzal is a passionate advocate for youth development and empowerment. He actively engages with young people, providing them with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to their communities. His dedication to youth empowerment is evident in his work with SEEK, where he has established programs that equip young people with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life.
As the Executive Director of SEEK, Sher Afzal has spearheaded numerous initiatives that have transformed the lives of individuals and communities. He has established educational programs, promoted literacy and numeracy, and provided vocational training to help people achieve their economic goals.
